I'd give anything (a Sofía & Paul story)

Transcription

An animation set to the song "I'd Give Anything" from Tangled the series. It features Sofía from Yo soy Franky as the main character. The colors are bright and saturated. The background is in 3D, and it is Sofía and Wilson's room. There are lots of cardboard boxes scattered in the entrance because they're going to move out. The characters are in 2D.

At the beginning, Sofía is looking anxiously at her phone, the screen is off. She is sitting on the floor next to her bedframe and her head is on her bed. A notification surprises her, making her drop her phone. She reads the text message. She sent Charlie earlier "Charlie, estás seguro que no hay un departamento libre donde vive Paul?" Charlie just sent her: "Déjame chequear otra vez. Te manteneré al tanto." The music starts, it's a soft and melancholic song.

Sofía puts her phone on the bed and takes a deep breath. She then takes a box from the bottom of the bookshelf, and opens it. There is a label on the lid of the box that reads: "1996-2001 Universidad". Lyrics are: "I know we've grown apart, it breaks my heart in two."

Sofía takes a picture frame from the box and looks at it. It is a picture of her, Wilson and Paul hanging out toghether in the time they were in college. The part where Wilson is has been torn and put back together. A flashback plays, of the first time Sofía showed the picture to Paul. Paul takes the picture, rips the part where Wilson is. Then he throws the piece away with a smile, as Sofía looks at him and pouts. Lyrics from this part are: "I miss your company, the closeness we once knew. I won't pretend to know just what you're going through."

The flashback ends, Sofía is smiling awkwardly and she puts the picture back in the box. Then she notices something else in the box. She takes it out, it's a small transparent box that she opens. In it is a prototype of Mosca which immediatly takes flight. Lyrics are: "Cause I'd give anything for you. Yes, I'd give anything to relive everything we knew."

As Mosca flies down, there is a fade out to a different setting: Sofía's room at her mom's. Both her and Paul are younger and are sitting in front of the bed while cuddling. Paul is using a remote control to pilot Mosca. Mosca flies down and rests on Sofía's hand while moving her wings a lot.

There is a fade out to present Sofía, with tears in her eyes. She is in the same position as past Sofía and is looking at Mosca perched on her hand as well. The phone in her other hand rings and she looks at the message. It reads: "Okay, acabo de hablar con Manuel. Sí hay uno que será vacío pero en un mes. Tiene un laboratorio secreto también. Puedo mandarte el plano si quieres. qué te parece?" She looks at the message and smiles. She responds in an instant: "Está perfecto Charlie!"

The credits then show. They read: "Cette anim est dédiée à Mosca. Dessins. gens du dessin. Modélisation & layout. les zinzins qui comprennent la 3D. Montage elleux là-bas. Idée de base. Les problèmes qui se baladent." During the credits, a clip taken from episode 1 of the show plays. It is Sofía calling Paul. She says: "Bueno, aquí estamos terminando de empacarlo todo, y ya mañana es la mudanza. Así que mañana nos vemos. Un abrazo, bye."
